I just started the book about 2 hours ago, and i just finished it.. IT WUZ SO SO GOOD! the best thing about it is the perspective in which it is wrote, i could not put it down and stop reading....u gotta read it
i luved this book. i was interested from beginning to end. how maggie finds romance no one else would have guessed. i love the whole series. i bought all the books from here. i recommend all the series to any and everyone
This book, was OK. I like the whole series and the way they are written. But what I like most about the series is that you can relate to them, but with this book it was totally different. No normal person can relate to having a movie star for a boyfriend, and not liking him at first! PLEASE!
In this heartwarming book, Maggie faces many tough decisions, ones that many kids go through in thier own ways. Not many kids have the chance to go out with a movie star, but face it, all of us are faced with decisions on if we like someone or not, and all of the decisions that are we are required to make if we do decide to persue the relationship. In this book, Magie is faced with many decisions, which helped me to understand some of the situations I have gone through. I would call this book excellent, although it was a little short.
If you are looking for a very, very fictional book, this is it! Even if Maggie's dad is a movie producer, this is a bit far-fetched. She falls in love with young, popular, hott, and new IT actor Tyler Kendall. Her dad produces a movie he's in and they start dating. I won't spoil it for you, but it is like every girl's fairy tale, to fall in love with a famous actor. But I liked it because it's like seeing someone living your fantasy and it's very interesting and you just start reading it and you don't put it down until you're done!
Wouldn't it be amazing to meet a famous actor? That's what Maggie Blume had the experience when she met a teen heart throb actor, Tyler Kendall.

This fiction book that's part of the California Diaries was set up as a diary from Maggie Blume, the daughter of a movie director. Her father threw a party for the cast for his new movie he was working on, which was called "Love Conquers All." That was when Maggie met with a teen actor named Tyler Kendall. This is when all the confusion starts with Maggie. You see, Maggie doesn't fall for really hot actors like Tyler because she judges them as stuck up rich stars who don't care about anything or anyone but themselves. But at the same time, deep down, she kind of likes him. Throughout the entire book, her feelings get confused if Tyler is really a nice person or if he's a self egotistical jerk.

Overall, I thought book was pretty good. I really liked the format of the book, which was a diary of the main character. It's something different that the reader reads about the character's life. But, I thought the concept was a little bit unreal. You know, meeting a teen actor you suddenly like, but you have mixed feelings about them.

But I learned from this book, too. The moral from this book was that you just can't judge someone until you really get to know them by spending time with them. That's what Maggie learned when she spent time with Tyler.

Even though I wasn't totally crazy over this book, see if you enjoy reading it. Trust me, try reading this book.
OK. the only reason i started getting into this series, was I was wanting to find a book with a person named Maggie. Which is my name, I'm Maggie too. The whole series is great, but this was my persona favorite. Getting over the anorexia, getting over Justin (who i personally hate for being such a jerk to Maggie and Tyler! He didnt deserve Maggie anyway.), and finding a new guy who is loving and caring, even though he's famous! Maggie is getting it together! Take that Justin! Take that Falicia!

Amalia, Sunny, Ducky, and Dawn are awesome in here too. GO TEAM MAGGIE!
